Freedom Academy is a nonprofit skills development training organization that provides high quality, cost effective, hands-on instruction. Nationally recognized job skill certifications as well as national and state licensing programs are delivered in public settings and business locations throughout Northeastern Indiana.
Customized: Onsite training is tailored to meet the specific needs of individual businesses, industries, banks, hospitals, government and nonprofit organizations. Examples of onsite courses include: Apprenticeships, Practical Technology, Welding, LEAN For Production & Services, Production Technician, Logistics Technician, Project Management, Quality, Green and Black Belt, CNC Machinist, Supervision, Production and Inventory Management, Customer Service, Human Resources, Language and Train-the-Trainer.
Hands-On: Occupational experts who have extensive and practical on-the-job experience provide our instruction.
Practical: Upon successful class completion, Freedom Academy students earn continuing education units (CEU’s) with the option to receive Vincennes University credits for selected courses. Nationally recognized job skills certifications include: AIPB Bookkeeping, IAAP Administrative Professional, ASE Automotive Technician, ASQ Quality Programs, ASQ Green Belt & Black Belt, APICS Certified Production & Inventory Management, AWS Welding, LEAN For Production & Services, MSSC Logistics Technician, MSSC Production Technician, NIMS CNC Machinist, PMI Project Management, Certified Nurse’s Aide, Qualified Medication Aide, Certified Prof. Medical Coder and NHA Phlebotomy.
